Dental Fear / Phobia

There are many reason why some patients develop fear or anxiety of going to a dentist. Usually it stems from having had an unpleasant experience in the past. It is also not uncommon to develop dental fear just from hearing about negative experiences had by friends and family. Often these fears and phobias can be passed down from parents to their children. My team and I are well aware of the problems fear patients can have and how hard it is to overcome them. Even the thought of having to pick up the phone to make an appointment can be daunting for some.

Through my years of experience with anxiety patients, I have developed several effective methods to help fearful patients overcome their uneasiness and make treatment as comfortable as possible for them. Our success is that we can always provide the patient with the time and empathy needed to overcome their fears. For us it is of utmost importance to provide our patients with pain- and stress free treatments!
